Wedding Dance Lessons
The tempo of the music you choose will determine the appropriate style of dance, either Ballroom or Latin which will give you repeatable steps so you have less to remember and will serve you well as a social skill that can be enjoyed on many more occasions in the future. Or you may prefer to use versatile Modern Jive moves that are an eclectic fusion of many different dance forms, suit almost any tempo of music, and are often mixed with my Ballroom and Latin choreography to give dips and leans. All moves are safe and take account of the fact you'll be in a wedding dress and wedding day attire.
Lessons are held in a full size dance studio (in Cheam, Surrey) for unrestricted dance practice and you will find my prices to be very competitive, and include both VAT and studio hire. You can choose to do as few or as many lessons as you wish but as a guide most couples require approximately 5 lessons for a routine or 1-3 for a few basics. Lessons are usually commenced 6-8 weeks before your wedding day to allow for busy diaries (although last minute lessons can often be accommodated, early booking is recommended).
Other members of your wedding party might welcome the chance to improve their own dance skills, and group lessons for up to four couples can also be arranged. Pink/gay couples very welcome - see FAQ. |
